The Center Square Thrift Shop would like to thank the dozens of individuals and families that have donated their time, money and beautiful items!
If you or your organization would like to donate, we are looking for new and gently used items (no furniture please). See the complete list below of donation items and guidelines. Please call our Manager, Joey Straniero at 848-404-9922 for information on drop off times and other details.

Joey can give you all the details on how you and your organization can contribute
to one of the Jersey Shore's most worthwhile charities. Yes, we offer official volunteer hours for students and youth organizations.

Center Square Thrift Shop Donation Guidelines:
1. No donations are to be left outside the entrance to the Shop.
2. Only items that are clean and in good condition will be accepted.
a. Shop volunteers should carefully check donated clothing for stains, rips, holes and odors.
b. Bedding, sheet sets and tablecloths should have the size indicated.
c. Non-clothing items that are damaged in any way will not be accepted.
3. The Shop may refuse donations if they do not conform to this policy.
4. Tax donation slips are available upon request. Volunteers may sign and issue the slip. The customer is responsible for itemizing/valuing their donations.
5. Items NOT accepted by the Shop include the following:
Appliances (any type)
Baby equipment (including cribs, car seats, strollers)
Home health equipment
Record albums/VHS videos
Sewing patterns & fabric
Electronic equipment (including TVs, VCRs, DVD players, stereos)
Remember, all proceeds from our store benefit The Center in Asbury Park. The Center in Asbury Park, Inc., is a volunteer based New Jersey not-for-profit service organization, providing support services for local people living with HIV/AIDS and their caregivers for over twenty years. The Center in Asbury Park offers its clients and volunteers a safe haven in order to instill a sense of community and stability in their lives.
